Shoulder to Shoulder with CIC
I created a CSR initiative which I pitched to panel of judges and industry professionals, the proposal directly address the issue of Islamophobia in the workplace with the aim to bring around positive social change. On behalf of the Creative industries council I created the campaign ‘Shoulder to Shoulder’. The CIC covers a massive range of industries from fashion to music to gaming and many many more. This initiative will be pitched to all the companies within the creative industries council, going through their trade bodies to have it scalable. As part of our initiative there will be continuous employee-employer education constantly happening parallel to lobbying initiatives for zero tolerance laws in employment. To have these put in place some of our stakeholders will be forms of the government such as department for work and pensions, employees and staff within CIC and companies which are always working to eradicate discrimination.
